Cured Portuguese ham and tomato bakes

Ingredients

  • 10 thin slices of cured ham
  • 6 small tomatoes
  • 1 goat’s cheese
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • pinches of salt and pepper

Method

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200 °C. 

Step 2

Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half lengthways. Drizzle with olive oil.

Step 3

Roast for 15 to 20 minutes while keeping an eye on them

Step 4

Cut out 10 circles of around 5 cm diameter from the pastry. Prick each pastry circle and top with half a roasted tomato.

Step 5

Bake at 210°C for 10 minutes.

Step 6

Add a thin slice of cured ham just after cooking, do the same with the goat's cheese.
