Ham and Mozzarella Croque Madame

Croque Madame mozzarella jambon & oeuf au plat


  • 4 slices sandwich bread
  • 1 mozzarella ball
  • 4 slices Black Forest smoked ham
  • honey mustard
  • pine nuts
  • 2 eggs


Step 1

Spread 4 sides of sandwich bread with honey mustard. Slice the mozzarella into rounds.

Step 2

Place 2 slices of smoked ham, folded in half, on each croque and half the mozzarella. Sprinkle with pine nuts.

Step 3

Cover with a slice of sandwich bread.

Step 4

Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake for 10 minutes.

Step 5

Turn on the grill and continue cooking for 2 or 3 minutes while keeping an eye on them.

Step 6

While you are waiting, fry 2 eggs with a knob of butter.

Step 7

When the croques are golden, gently place a fried egg on each one. Serve with some salad and enjoy while still warm.
